Does the use of palate expander result in changing the shape of the Lower jaw into a nicer “U” shape ( in addition to increasing the space of upper jaw)? or do I need another expander for the Lower Jaw? Thanks!

    1. It hurts to put it on.
And it hurts for like 5 minutes after you turn it.
I’m a wimp though, so the pain will vary. :]
    2. Anywhere from 2 weeks to a year.
    3. Just the top.

oh my gosh this hurts! every time i activate it, it feels like my mouth is going to crack in two! I can’t wait for that thing in my mouth to open so it won’t hurt when i do. and its impossible to eat with it! it took me, like, half an hour to eat a bowl of food that normally takes 20 seconds to eat!

    1. Does the palate expander hurt?
    2. How long do they leave the palate expander on?
    3. Do they do the palate expander to the top and abottom or just top?
